Git: Initialize Repository…
git.init Create a Git repository in a folder (git init), then light up the Git integration for it.
How to run it
Open the command palette (M-x in the Emacs keymap) and search for Git: Initialize Repository…, then press Enter. It has no default keybinding, but you can bind one in Settings → Keymaps.
