File: New File of Type…
file.newFileOfType Create a file of a chosen kind (Java class, Python, YAML, ...) in the current folder.
How to run it
Open the command palette (M-x in the Emacs keymap) and search for File: New File of Type…, then press Enter. It has no default keybinding, but you can bind one in Settings → Keymaps.
