Installers start ~28% faster
The native installers now launch noticeably quicker, about 28% faster to the first frame (~300–480 ms on macOS), thanks to a JDK 25 AOT cache trained against a real GUI run and baked into each installer. It degrades gracefully, so a launch can never be slower than before.

Update (October 2026). “Never slower than before” was too strong. The cache step later caused a Windows launch failure (fixed in 0.9.2), was missing from macOS arm64 builds through 0.9.8 (fixed in 0.9.9), and caused a startup crash on some CPUs in 0.13.0 (fixed in 0.13.1).
